As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will be responsible for full life cycle software development including design, deployment, integration, testing and maintenance of software applications. Specifically, you will:
- Design, write and test new software programs.
- Enhance existing applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
- Maintain applications by identifying and correcting software defects.
- Develop and implement new software applications.
- Create technical specifications, documentation and test plans.
- Consult clients and colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software applications.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- A Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Real, practical, experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Java and large-scale relational databases.
- Experience solving complex software problems in an object-oriented way.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with e-commerce integration, web services and any of the following technologies: J2EE, XML, XSLT, SOAP, JDBC.
